Fashionable, dramatic, and oh-so-cozy, capes and cloaks are timeless wardrobe staples - and they’re a great project to take on when you’re learning to sew. Join costumer London St. Juniper for a special 3 week workshop series at ArtFarm this winter, and learn to sew by making your very own cape or cloak!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! This workshop will teach you to read and use commercial sewing patterns, cut fabric, and sew a garment you can actually wear.

Once you’ve registered you’ll receive detailed instructions on buying materials for the cloak or cape of your choice. Stitch by hand, bring and learn on your own machine, or rent a machine from ArtFarm.

Sewing Machine Options: 

Bring and learn on your own machine: no added charge

Rent and learn on an ArtFarm machine: $50 for the workshop duration

Hand sewing is another option if anyone wants to go that route!
